A control set is available separately and includes lyophilized low, high and serum controls. The reconstituted low and high contols are ready-to-use, meaning that they require no further dilution or pre-treatment, while the reconstituted serum control should be pre-treated and diluted in a manner identical to the unknowns. This allows researchers to not only monitor the performance of the calibration curve, but also to monitor the reproducibility of their sample treatment day-to-day.
